We seek a creative and skilled Web Designer to join our team. The web designer will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites, from layout to function, according to the client’s specifications. The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of web design trends and user experience principles and be proficient in front-end development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop visually appealing websites that meet client specifications and business goals.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design ideas to stakeholders.
- Ensure websites are responsive and optimized for all devices and browsers.
- Collaborate with developers, content creators, and marketing teams to align design with overall project objectives.
- Utilize web content management systems (CMS) to manage and update site content.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest web design trends, tools, and technologies.
- Conduct website testing to identify and fix functionality, performance, and user experience issues.
- Implement SEO best practices to enhance website visibility and search rankings.
- Maintain website documentation and create backup files regularly.
- Provide support for website maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience as a web designer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap).
- Experience with graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and web accessibility standards.
- Familiarity with web content management systems (CMS), such as WordPress.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- A strong portfolio showcasing web design and development projects.
Good to have:
- Knowledge of UI/UX principles and usability best practices.
- Experience with CSS preprocessors such as SASS or SCSS.
- Familiarity with animation libraries or CSS animations.
- Basic understanding of React, Bootstrap, Tailwind, or similar frameworks.
