Job Location: Gandhinagar
We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of WordPress architecture and be proficient in customizing themes and plugins. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining WordPress websites, with a particular focus on WooCommerce customization using hooks and filters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customize and develop WordPress themes to meet design specifications and functionality requirements.
- Modify and extend WordPress plugins to add or improve features.
- Work extensively with WooCommerce, including customizing templates and working with actions and filters.
- Implement responsive design and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
- Troubleshoot and debug WordPress issues, including plugin conflicts and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality web solutions.
- Maintain and update existing WordPress sites with new content, features, and improvements.
- Follow best practices in coding, security, and performance optimization.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of WordPress core, themes, and plugins.
- Proven experience in theme and plugin customization.
- Hands-on experience with WooCommerce, including hooks, filters, and template overrides.
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
- Understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
- Ability to write clean, well-documented, and efficient code.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or similar.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and AJAX in WordPress.
- Basic knowledge of MySQL and database optimization.
- Understanding of WordPress multisite and multilingual setups.
